Thr3e follows a man named Kevin, who, while driving innocently one day in his car, receives a call on his cell phone from a man who calls himself Slater. Slater tells Kevin that if Kevin doesn't confess his sin to the world within three minutes, he (Slater) will blow up Kevin's car.

Kevin has no idea what Slater is talking about, so he races into an empty parking lot, and boom, his car blows up. The news show up and swarm, and Kevin has no idea what to do. He does the whole police and news spiel, then goes home. When he gets home, Slater calls him again. Once again, Kevin has to confess his sin or Slater is going to blow something up. Slater gives him a riddle this time and considerably more than three minutes; I think three hours.

It's basically about how Kevin tries to figure out what Slater wants him to confess. He teams up with his old friend Samantha and a chick from the FBI named Jennifer. I can't tell anymore without starting to give away the ending.

I will say one thing: this was an excellent book. The characters were awesome, and the ending had me bawling my eyes out. Though it isn't sad. It's just... I can see that happening. There's such a huge freaking twist, it makes your heart just... stop. I loved this book, it was the best book I've read in a long time. I'd recommend it to anyone.
