"Mind on Full"

Thoughts are people too,
and cannot be easily slain.
They flood your mind and multiply
much faster than destroyed.

People are just like thoughts;
always pushing, prodding, forcing.
Wailing away at your mind-flesh
and into your soul's very core.

There they stay, so tight inside
so only a surgeon with a knife
and a chisel, razor-sharp,
can hammer them away.
